Pregnancy Diet: Be alert to the Incorrect Food Decisions

You most likely know the significance of adopting a healthy diet, particularly during pregnancy. That explains why you all of a sudden start adding all the right foodstuffs in your corner store list as fast as you learned that you are on the family way.

But just how sure are you that you are not falling into the mistake of eating the incorrect sort of foods?

Steering clear of foods that may be harmful for you and your baby is just as equally significant as choosing the right stuff. Hence here's a listing of some of the foods you must avoid while you're pregnant:

- Anything undercooked. While meat, chickens and eggs contain vital nutriments that may help in the correct growth and development of your baby, not cooking them totally can seriously raise your chance of food-borne sicknesses. - Seafood that came from polluted waters. If it comes from less than satisfactory sources, there is no chance you'll be safe eating it.
- Soft cheeses. Even if it's among your favorites, please do not consume mold-ripened soft cheeses (brie, chevre and camembert) and soft mould ripened cheeses (Danish blue and gorgonzola) during your pregnancy months. Otherwise, you are putting yourself at risk for listeriosis, a bacterial infection that may lead to early deliver, miscarriage and death.
- Alcohol, tea and coffee. Both alcohol and caffeine can significantly increase your risk of miscarriage so keep them off your diet, too.
